Denomination

We are part of the Southern Diocese of the Free Church of England. The principles, canons, constitution, byelaws can be found in the denominational website.
Christ Church Broadstairs was originally a Tin Tabernacle that was constructed in 1901 and was in use until 1904. The tin church had pews and gas lightings. The present building was built in 1904 and dedicated in March 1905. This church building was dedicated in memory of Bishop Samuel who was the Bishop Primus of the Free Church of England from 1890 to 1900.
Christ Church is an Anglican Church rooted in Biblical teachings and principles. We follow The Book of Common Prayer 1959 for our morning services.
Christ Church Broadstairs is open to worshippers of all ages and backgrounds. We are committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ and are here to spread His gospel. Get in touch or visit us and find out more about becoming part of the family.
